Our Story
A family tradition since 1988
The Heart of Dragon Palace
Grandpa Bill & Grandma Christine
Dragon Palace isn't just a restaurant. It's a home. Since 1988, Bill and Christine have welcomed the Chetwynd community through their doors, serving up dishes that blend the flavors of East and West with love, skill, and decades of tradition.
Bill's journey as a cook spans continents. From the bustling kitchens of Hong Kong to restaurants across the United States and Canada, he's spent a lifetime perfecting his craft. Every dish at Dragon Palace reflects that experience, from the crispy perfection of his sweet and sour pork to the sizzle of a hand-cut New York strip.
Bill on the wok, Christine on the phone. Business as usual.
"We've made Chetwynd our home and are dedicated to sharing our love of great food with the community."
Christine, a former Cantonese opera actress, brings an artistic eye to everything she touches. Her warmth fills the dining room, from the carefully chosen decor to the way she greets regulars by name. Together, they've created something truly special: a place where families gather, celebrations happen, and everyone leaves satisfied.
What makes Dragon Palace unique is its range. Where else in Chetwynd can you get authentic Chinese food, a perfectly cooked steak, juicy burgers, and family combo dinners all under one roof? Bill and Christine have always believed that great food should be for everyone, and their menu reflects that philosophy.
